read moreClass-based training is not always convenient for everyone, nor is it suitable for all dogs. Dogs who are very excited or worried by other dogs, people or new situations benefit from private training sessions where they can gradually learn to be more relaxed and confident. Dogs (and people) who are stressed cannot learn effectively, so one-to-one training both increases the ability to learn, and also maximises welfare by avoiding overly stressful situations.

read moreI have just completed my 4 session one on one course with Jo and my 11 month old Dalmatian Hugo! Before Jo, I was having huge problems walking Hugo, getting him to behave and generally being the dog i hoped he would be. But the sessions with Jo have given us both confidence and great tips on how to be the best dog and owner we can both be. Instead of now 'Fearing the walking dread', I actually look forward to taking him out. Thank you Jo, you really have changed it all around for us! :) we will miss you, Hugo will for sure!

read moreWe Contacted Jo after finding Stanley at a boarding kennels which take in the odd stray. Unfortunately they do not assess their dogs and this made me wary about taking him home. Jo gave us some pointers on behaviour that may indicate certain problems and armed with this we had a second meeting. Even though we had instantly fallen in love with Stanley we needed to be sensible, Jo agreed to come to our home on the day we collected him and assess his behaviour around our children. Jo gave us lots of invaluable advice, probably the most important for us was how the children could identify warning signs for if Stanley became stressed or uncomfortable and should be left alone. Jo is so friendly and easy to relate to she gave us the confidence and support to give an unwanted dog a home. A big thank you from the Mcfadyen family.

read moreCouldn't ask for more, an excellent trainer. Jo has helped us with a tricky situation and set us up really well to help my dog overcome a pretty intense fear. So good to see him return to his normal happy self. She is very flexible in her training, finding the best way to proceed to with each animal and works with the owner to find solutions which work for everyone. The training we've been doing is fairly simple but extremely effective. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone.

read moreAbsolutely brilliant. The techniques that were given to us have helped out our pup no end. Jo's training has allowed us to feel more in control and have different options when our erratic puppy just wont settle. Life has been made alot easier both around the home and out and about.

read moreJo is an amazing trainer who has helped me get the best out of both my dogs, classes are always fun and my dogs don't realise they are working as they are having such a good time. I originally called Jo as I was having some behavioural issues with one of my dogs and with her help he is now in a class and doing brilliantly. Jo is fun, friendly and so knowledgeable I cant recommend her highly enough.
